WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL!

Dear pupils of 6th course,

This year I'm going to be your English teacher, and for some of you, your tutor too. I'm sure you're going to discover a new way of learning English that I hope you'll enjoy. We'll work not just with the class and activi ty books you're used to work with, but with computers, white board, a lot of audio-visual material and many other ressources I find interesting for the adquisition of the foreign language.

I created this blog last course to use it as a platform where you can find different ressources, activities and games to reinforce the contents studied during the english lessons. Sometimes we'll do them at school, and others you'll have to do them at home.

Remember that you can learn English having fun!

NEW SCHOOL YEAR 2010/2011

I'm back from my holidays and the students will be back to school in a couple of days. I really enjoyed my holidays and I hope you did too. For this new school year 2010/2011 there are a lot of news. Unfortunately I'm not continuing teaching in C.E.O Antigua. This course I'll be teaching in C.E.I.P Cristóbal García Blairzy, in Gran Tarajal, in the south of Fuerteventura. It's a very big school with more than 40 teachers and  more than 700 pupils. It was completely renewed in 2008. I'm going to be the tutor of a course of 6º of primary and I'm also going to teach English probably in the first cycle.
I still don't have my timetable.

I can't wait to meet my new pupils.

GOODBYE C.E.O. ANTIGUA

Dear friends,

When you'll read this letter you'll probably may know that I'm not continuing with you at school this new academic year. I just wanted to write some words to thank you for making me feel part of that amazing school where I met fantastic teachers, brilliant pupils and excellent human beings. It has been a wonderful experience to me, where I've learnt lot of things not just from my colleagues, but from my pupils. Sharing this nine months with all of you has made of me not just a better teacher, but a better person too, which is more important. I deeply respect the work you do daily to make things work, to make that big project work.
Keep on working as you've been doing.

I'll always remember you and you'll always be part of me.

Love,
Verónica T.
